A PROLOGUE

"What does one do when we do not have binary answers to compelling questions that a child asks? Most often, we're likely to drive the child's attention towards materialistic objects we bear the knowledge of. And when that happens, we pretend to have distracted the little questioning mind... whereas in reality, we have instructed it to go, find its answers somewhere else.

Like most other kids my age, I too had my set of questions. Since childhood, I had a bent for all things mystic. My mom cannot thank the Almighty enough that in my quest to find the unknown, I gravitated towards Mantra rather than Tantra. So a study of Bhagavad Gita followed at a very young age. And then... I must have been studying in high school when Orkut invaded cyber and mindspace. The unique 'Groups' feature of this networking portal allowed me to participate in serious discussion forums on Indian & Greek Mythology. Thus followed a detailed scan of The Sacred Texts, The Ramayana, Mahabharata, Dashaavtaars... and mention what you may. This is where the roots took hold....

When a person starts his voyage on the spiritual path, he tends to view every experience from an esoteric perspective. There are incidences, realizations and mysteries I too witnessed along the way. My journey brought along with it, profound insights. This blog is meant to share some of those wonders. Whether the lessons lie in the incidents themselves or my vision -- I do not know. What I do trust is that as humans, we all bear a more-or-less similar ethical structure... That what pains one is most likely to pain another... This is what the scriptures call Saamanya Dharma, known as Humanity in English.... thus implying that the experiences of one human can integrally enhance the realization of another.

"I Am You" ...................as the scriptures say.

With the same sacred belief, I have started this blog. I invite you to come and view the world through my lenses, through my perspective or through my soul as the case demands. Leave your thoughts behind for me to contemplate upon. I hope this dialogue will leave us both as richer persons in the process.

I hope that when my own child asks me questions on existence, I should be able to read out to it our conversations from this blog."

With Love,
- Samrat
