He is co-founder of Mumbai-based architectural firm, Etablir Designs.

Socially, Samrat is popular for his exhaustive knowledge of Indian Mythology and in particular, the Mahabharata. He has been a scholar, adviser and expert contributor at several forums on this subject. His spiritual discourses have earned him dedicated fan following across the Indian subcontinent.
